The House of Virgin Mary; According to Christian belief, 5-6 years following the crucifixion of Christ, Saint John and the Virgin Mary spent their last days at a house in the environs of Ephesus. This house was discovered by a group of German monks led by a German Nun in 1891. Every year hundreds of thousands of Christians make a pilgrimage to this site.
