The House of Virgin Mary

The House of Virgin Mary; According to Christian belief, 5-6 years following the crucifixion of Christ, Saint John and the Virgin Mary spent their last days at a house in the environs of Ephesus. This house was discovered by a group of German monks led by a German Nun in 1891. Every year hundreds of thousands of Christians make a pilgrimage to this site. Duration of Visit: 1 hr. Dilek Peninsula National Park

Great Menderes Delta National Park is among the most important natural heritages of Turkey, with an area of 27.598 hectares. This mountainous land is including sandy, pebbled, horizontal and high coastal formations as well as such canyons and valleys, embrace natural, historical and cultural values. Besides its interesting geological formation, Dilek Peninsula National Park has a rare Mediterranean flora.It has extraordinary beauty of Mediterranean flora with blue and emerald colored clean beaches.

Pigeon Island

Connected to the mainland by a pier in 60’s, Güvercinada has also been home to a castle built by famous Turkish Mariner Barbaros Hayrettin in 16th century. During Ottoman Era this castle has served as a forward base against attacks from other islands. You can take unique photographs of your ship from the island. The entrance to the castle is totaly free. You will see some peacocks after you climb the stairs, relax under the olive trees and watchover the town. Duration of Visit: 1 hour .
